With over 229 slips, our three Seasonal Marinas offer a variety of accommodations to meet any expectation a boater may have. Spend a glorious summer on your boat, living in the middle of downtown South Haven, one of most spectacular beach and harbor towns on Lake Michigan. With full service slips ranging in size from 24 to 60 feet, chances are we good that we have a dock to meet your needs. We welcome you to stop by and meet the great group of people who call South Haven Municipal Marinas their summer home.
All marinas offer high-speed wifi so you can stream music, check out the buoy cams, or sneak a peak at the work email in the marina. Your wifi login will work throughout the downtown on the City of South Haven wifi system.
The recently constructed Northside Marina Clubhouse offers a new boater's lounge, kitchenette, large screen TV, sitting and dining areas, as well as laundry and shower facilities. Most docks are located downstream of the City's drawbridge, so your vessel has 24 hour access to the open water of Lake Michigan, just minutes from the dock to the Big Lake. Experience sunset on the big blue water and be back in your dock before dark.
There are three seasonal marinas: Northside Basin, Maritime Docks, and Black River Park, all just a short walk away from Downtown South Haven's finest offerings of food, fun, and festivities. With over 20 restaurants, countless shops, museums, galleries, library, theater and more, it won't be hard to find a way to spend your time ashore.
The Harborwalk, stretches from North Beach to South Beach through the heart of downtown South Haven. Start your morning with a brisk walk from the North Pier, past the authentic tall ship, across the drawbridge, through the downtown bakeries and cafe's, to the South Haven lighthouse. Along the way, you'll find interesting and informative historical plaques that tell the story of South Haven's past as a rough and tumble logging town and commercial harbor.
